Scope
Alchemy processes data needed to run core automation features across Discord and the dashboard.
This includes syncing events and raids, posting announcements, handling signups and reminders, and reflecting admin configuration choices.
Data Categories
Discord and Guild Data
- Discord guild/server identifiers, channel identifiers, and role identifiers.
- Discord scheduled event IDs, raid/event configuration, and announcement message IDs.
- Timestamps such as created/updated times for records and sync actions.
User and Admin Data
- Optional display names and Discord user IDs for signups and moderation/admin actions.
- Admin configuration choices, including enabled modules, schedules, locale/timezone settings, and automation preferences.
Why We Process It
We process information only for operational needs tied to the bot and dashboard service.
- Sync Discord state with backend records.
- Create and update event/raid posts and operational reminders.
- Handle signups, roster states, and scheduling automation.
- Allow administrators to configure and review module behavior in the dashboard.
Sharing
Data may be shared with service providers required to operate Alchemy.
That includes the Discord API, hosting providers, and our PayloadCMS-backed database infrastructure.
Retention and Security
We retain operational data for as long as required to provide service features, resolve issues, and maintain reliability.
We apply practical technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
